Quarantine Hacks

We are so used to being "Quarantined" these days. The terms pandemic, quarantine, isolation, social distancing are used by everyone so often. It is of utmost importance to be optimistic, mentally healthy and physically fit. If we achieve these three things we will surely survive 2020 and would hit 2021 with a bang! Here are some Quarantine Hacks to make your life easier and help you get through

!Let's get started

1. Self-care is not selfish!

This is the best time to focus on yourself. You have nobody and nothing to distract. Don't set an alarm. You are not in a hurry. Listen to your body. Your body knows well how much sleep you require. Eat healthy. Make your own food at home. Be experimental. Give at least one hour to workout. Now you have all the time to think about yourself. Remember it is never selfish to think about yourself. If you can take good care of yourself only then you can create a better environment  for others. It is the ultimate way to give the world the best of you. Stop feeling guilty and relax in your own space.
In this way you will enhance self esteem and practice positive thinking. This will surely boost your productivity, thinking skills and energy. You will conquer all your weaknesses and complexes. Self care is one of the best but underrated survival techniques which we need the most in 2020.

2. Let's turn on the beast mode!

You wished for that bikini body, those carved abs and V-line last summer. You always wanted that flat belly and a sharp jawline. This is the most privileged time to work on your body and transform yourself. There is no harm in being a beginner. Take baby steps each day. You don’t require a luxurious gym with sauna and fancy equipment’s. Your body weight is enough to lift. There are a lot of affordable zoom classes and free apps to take help of. Remember not to try anything without proper help. Dress up for your session. Workout with a buddy will make your workouts more fun. It also motivates and help push harder when you have a partner.
It is not important how much time you give for workout but how regularly and correctly you perform every activity. Consistency is all that matters and will take you to your goal. They say you should feel comfortable in your own skin. But why not make that skin more beautiful. Take this opportunity and show the world your inner strength.

3. Know your roommates

Here I mean your family members. They are the ones you are spending the most of your precious time with. Spend quality time with them to blossom your relationship. Plan a nice “staycation”. Get ready in the morning, workout together, help each other in cooking, dress up and have lunch in your balcony or living room, watch your favourite show on Netflix, play home games like cards, jhenga, business, scrabble, share your opinions on different topics. Turn your living room into a discussion panel or just chat and hang out in your room like friends, make plans for after-lockdown. Each day will bring you joy and strengthen your relationships.

4. Learn a new skill or cultivate a new hobby

Take the charge and paint that wall corner, put on the dancing shoes and groove in your room, play karaoke with your family or try your luck and be a masterchef. Find out your skills and nourish them. Be creative and meditate through your innovation. Go for whatever makes you happy. It’s never late or too early to try something new. Painting, sketching, singing, dancing, learning a foreign language, practising yoga, writing, housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, gardening, baby sitting. We can do a lot at home. Think out of the box. Know your potential. Wake up your inner artist and lead the world!

5. Get organised!

You always dreamed of having a long vacation. You always wanted to slow down a bit and match the pace. Well, this is the time! Everything and specially the time is in your favour. Hold on to it and utilise this time to come back in action. Get organised. Arrange your routine in way that you will be never in a hurry later.
Arrange the closet, keep your stuff where they belong. Get habitual to it. You won’t lose time in finding the essentials. Once your everyday busy schedule starts you will be all ready for it.

This is the time we get back on track and grow. Yes we have to slow down but it is to gear up for the next level. 2020 is not a curse but one extra year added where we have all the privilege to stop and focus on ourselves. Enjoy it. Life is good.
